It's fascinating to see all the repercussions of 10/7. That massacre led to the destruction of Hamas and Hezbollah. And now that there aren't any Hezbollah fighters left to shore up the Assad regime, Syria is collapsing. Russia is getting out of Dodge. Their airfield in Syria is indefensible. Their navy has left. This is a huge loss for Russia since Syria was their only base in the Mediterranean. Iran has lost everything - Hamas is gone. Hezbollah is gone. And shortly Assad and Syria will be gone as Iranian and Russian allies. I still marvel at the stupidity of Palestinians in Gaza and their decision to invade Israel. It set so many things in motion. Most importantly, it ultimately really weakened Russia and Iran. Russia is losing their access to the Mediterranean. Iran can no longer deliver arms to their proxy armies. All of this is great. And the US didn't have to lift a finger. Because Hamas invaded Israel and set the stage for what's happening today. A win for America.
+10000
Yup. Self-destructive behavior to a remarkable and consistent extent over the years. It brings to mind the popular definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results.
Like how Trump is trying to double down on a bunch of things that were failures in his first term. Didn't learn anything and possibly insane.
Yet the U.S. is still here, and will still be here four years from now, just like Israel will be.
Yeah, I don’t care if Israel is here or not. Israel and the people who care about its existence are owed NOTHING by others. America’s relevance and sustainability has zero to do with that shitbox in the desert, which has proven over and over again to be a net negative for America. So let’s be clear: America is a priority. Israel is irrelevant.
