[/quote] Haven't contributed to this thread before, but the statements about diversity are probably based on the FCC schools having 8-9% more Caucasian students than not only Haycock, but also Longfellow and McLean, plus the fact that the differences between the percentages of black and Hispanic students narrow at the middle and high school levels. So, for example, while George Mason has about 8% more Caucasian students than McLean, it only has about 1% more Hispanic students. And, as you noted, the schools in FCPS do have twice as high a percentage of Asian students as the FCC schools. [/quote]
