Op here. Again, we have lived in a neighborhood without kids for 14 years prior and have lived here since Spring. My kids are old enough to play outside alone so it’s not an issue of playmates vanishing. I’m simply curious why people are weather averse so early in the season. Winter isn’t officially here. [b]If you don’t go outside now, do you not go back out until Spring? [/b]

You are starting to catch on. And to the German PP, no we don’t want to wear all that stuff just to go outside. We have a lovely climate controlled home! If I want to go outside in winter I fly south.[/quote]

Op back. But this is not even that cold I’d say. Back in the 90s we had blizzards here. I think the last blizzard was Snowmageddon. It’s warmer than it’s ever been. 80s on Halloween.[/quote]
