He was lucky indeed.[/quote] I guarantee you that if this had been the case and if that affluent white jury had found him guilty, that would have done as much to agitate racial tensions as Rodney King. There would have been mass riots from many who felt that this was once again a case of a racially biased situation of the white institutions convicting blacks whether they were guilty or not. It is far easier for the white majority to want to just move forward with racial blindness and forget about the decades of racial imbalances. [/quote]
