1) Age group determines how many teams go. 1-4 CL, 5-6 NA, 7-8 Showcase for u16&u17.

it's most likely the top four would already be in CL? I had heard the winner of CL gets a different seed than 1-4 league teams. Then the next 4 teams also qualify  - like #5 then gets a CL spot, then trickles down. Showcase B is for #9 - if the Cup winner isn't in 1-4. But from what you said, my info is incorrect. the whole thing confusing and stupid. Any official link to rules out there? Thanks for your help [/quote]

Then why is your daughter playing ECNL soccer?  If you don't deem this activity helps her in some way to become a better adult, then yes, you're wasting your money.  Better to spend it somewhere else.  My daughter is looking forward to playoffs in SD next summer.  I'm happy that's she's excited and the value of that is priceless.[/quote]
