UCLA is also higher on nearly all global rankings, which primarily consider grad programs. Finally, rankings are dumb. [/quote] UCLA is a great school but I wonder how much it is boosted in US News by its social mobility score. Michigan has more kids from high-income families so they probably don't do well on that part of the ranking.[/quote]
