I would much prefer to tell you “nothing big! my kid is super into art and books” and she receive gifts related to things she actually likes vs makeup and slime and things she doesn’t care about. Gift cards are fine, but opening a bunch of gift cards is not that exciting. I don’t care about cost, homemade gifts are fine, secondhand gifts are also completely fine.
