So many people on this board want to live in dreamland where there is a perfect system that all kids are taught.  It doesn't work that way.  Find what works for you and your child. Also be willing to accept that your kid may not be a world class player no matter their desire and who is teaching what. And you know what? That's ok. Let them enjoy it and as a parent don't ruin their experience.

As for the whole, "Oh I guess it's ok to discuss this but not this here."  You sound like a jerk when you try and get information that way.  Moreover, you may be aware, there is a poster who comes across as more than slightly deranged. This individual posts things and replies to himself/herself, ruining the threads.[/quote]
