My kid (W pyramid) was offered TKPK middle magnet. We declined. Not anywhere close to worth it for the travel. And yes, we know kids in that magnet, we know what they get from it. Still not worth it. [/quote]

Why? Spoiler alert. Bussing kids all over the county costs money. Money that could be better spent improving all schools, benefitting all kids. 
Did you think the buses, drivers, gas were all free? That the administrators who run the admissions were volunteers?[/quote]
