Please provide me with Bible passages that I can quote to Republican “Christian” family members who support deporting all illegal (and some legal) immigrants. Along the lines of Romans 12:13 Proverbs 3:27
They don't care. Find a better hobby, like caring for the downtrodden, instead of fighting with people who don't.
We can't avoid our family every holiday so...
You don't need bible quotes. They won't listen anyway, so just eat pie, drink wine, and ignore them, feign a stomach virus and go home at the earliest possible moment.
No thanks don’t plan to be part of the silent majority. Actually, last time my sister-in-law explained to my aunts, what a late term abortion is, and that children are not killed outside the womb after they’re born healthy. They didn’t know that ending an ectopic pregnancy was considered an abortion. They just thought that was considered healthcare and we explained that no now it’s considered an abortion under the new laws. She explained all the different types of problems. A baby could have in the womb that could make it impossible for them to live outside the womb, and that sometimes ending the pregnancy was better for everybody involved than having a deformed baby continue to grow in your belly. They were very surprised to hear this. It was nice to see them finally hear the truth. Also, when they realize that the anti-gay movement uses Leviticus to prove their point and also you’re not supposed to eat shrimp they realized you’re right that doesn’t make sense. And then we pointed out that Jesus never said anything about that except for her to love your neighbor, and they were open to that.
What you say about abortion is science, not religion. Regarding your whole post, It really is too bad that people are so ignorant.
Not to religious people, it's religion. They go to church and are told these lies over and over and over for decades.
What gets me is the hypocrisy. I can even understand that someone considers an elective abortion wrong, but I have a problem with people who have no issue if it affects themselves, are all in on the death penalty, are against granting asylum, etc.
Just let the immigrants die ... no compassion but they are "pro life"... sure you are.
