Oh FFS.  Yes, the name Emma has been around for centuries, but it's well documented that Rachel Green naming her baby Emma on Friends sparked its recent extreme popularity.

Not pp but it was already on a steep upward trajectory.

I think a lot of these examples are backwards and the pop culture name came from a rising popularity name.

most of these are the shows/movies following the existing trends. I already knew a couple baby Emmas when the Friends baby was named. It had already had strong growth in popularity
