[/quote] My HS student was making small talk with a doctor acquaintance of ours, and the doctor offered to have him shadow unprompted, and then the doctor followed up after to schedule (we would have otherwise just assumed he said that to be nice in the moment). Kid had a great day shadowing and really appreciated the opportunity to get a firsthand look at a day in the life. [/quote]
