Davidson is not preppy the way people describe W&L. You will find some preppy students there, but the overall vibe is not preppy. If in your mind preppy = conservative, then it's even less so. Davidson definitely leans more left than right. Parent of a current student.  [/quote]

The kids I know that attend are pretty darn preppy.  As in they went to fairly conservative private schools prior to Davidson, [b]there must be a range[/b].[/quote]

I'm PP, and there's definitely a range! It's one of the things drew my DC to Davidson. I'm just sharing that according to my DC, and based on what I have observed during visits, preppy wouldn't be the general feel of the school. [/quote]
