[/quote] He got into the Deitrich School- stats are fine but not blowing the roof off. 3.98 UW, 1430 SAT (he's actually taking it again this weekend), and a decent amount of APs (Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Literature, APUSH, etc.). ECs are decent, one sport and several academic teams and an afterschool job tutoring science and math. We're not from the DC area, but I got the idea to apply to Pitt from this group--it looks like a great school and it gave him a huge boost of confidence and energy to get an acceptance this early.
