No one said that.  Remove the dead people.  Remove the duplicates.  But removing people who haven’t voted in the last two federal elections (4 years) is burdensome.  Many people only vote according to the presidential cycle and certainly can miss a cycle due to work or health issues.  [/quote]

This should not be allowed.  Just because a person chose not to vote in two federal elections, they should still be able to walk in for any election and vote.  We should be encouraging citizens to vote and make it as easy as possible for legal citizens to vote.  Making voters jump through hoops if they are an infrequent voter is truly an egregious denial of rights.[/quote]

After 4 years they can reactivate on election Day or earlier.

After 8 years they have to re-register before the weekend before election day.
