A 4.3 weighted GPA in FCPS would typically have 9-12 APs, demonstrating the rigor. But DC doesn't need to have all As to get that wGPA. My DC, former FCPS, now UVA first year, had a 4.3 wGPA with 3 Bs. FCPS doesn't rank, but at commencement, about 20% of the class graduated with honors, meaning that they had 4.0 wGPA or higher. But in a different school with fewer APs, or different timings of when APs are available, and a different weighting system, the expected wGPA for a reasonable opportunity to get in will be different.
