Last March, there was an anonymous donor that gave $30M that will be used for the renovation of a building that will house the Global Research Institute, Institute for Integrative Conservation and Whole of Government Center of Excellence.

Then just a few weeks ago, there was a $100M donation for the Marine Sciences department.

I've got a sophomore there now who says the construction is so distracting and they will not see the results until after they graduate. 
Hopefully the housing will at least ease up next year with the new dorms.
