I am from a town in the rural south and I think a lot of the posters who are saying private Christian school don’t know what they’re talking about. I said this is someone who went to a private Christian school in a larger city. Once we moved you don’t want to send your kid to a right wing Christian segregation academy.
I went to high school in a former segregation academy in the rural south (proudly founded in 1956). At least it was integrated and slightly less racist when I got there. The local school district was one of the worst in a state with one of the worst education systems. There aren't always great or even good choices
Did they teach the Brown v Board of Education ruling on segregation and how that was the reason their little school was built?
