My dad drove a bus in NYC for 20+ years. Dealt with cranks, drunks, was nearly robbed twice. Handled it all with aplomb. Retired and got a job driving a school bus in the suburbs. He loved the little kids, but those middle schoolers nearly did him in. And that was years ago, before the uptick in behavioral issues. Just saying, if playing Christian music helps your kids’ bus driver get through his routes, count your blessings and cut him some slack.
So you can't be unbiased and see the view from a different POV? So gross.
I’m saying it’s a really hard job that doesn’t pay a lot. Life is imperfect. The idea that school kids can’t handle music that references a different religion than their own is absurd, and op’s school could lose a good driver if she complains.
I'm saying if you post "count your blessings" you are not unbiased and aren't giving an opinion in good faith. If someone quits over asking them to change the radio station, well they dont sound very good or committed to the job anyways.
NP here This could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Personally, you could't pay me enough to be a school bus driver. I'm deeply grateful for the people who do it.
