Usually EA acceptance rates are higher than ED. [/quote] EA is required at USC for merit scholarships. All applicants not admitted EA are deferred to RD. Also, PP is wrong about one thing. Most SCEA schools have an exception that allows students to apply SCEA and also EA to a private if, as in the case of USC, applying EA is required to be eligible for merit. [/quote]
