Outside of the top 4 teams it doesn’t really matter.
What are the top 4 teams?
GFR, Arlington, Loudoun, McLean
I'm not sure I would include GFR in there but certainly Arlington, Loudoun and McLean as the top three.
Agree on GFR as it depends on the year. GFR’s 2014 girls pre-ECNL is very strong but their 2013 team is just okay.
+1 Maybe SYC to round out the top 4....but I definitely agree with the above mentioned as top 3.
Someone mentioned top 4 pre ECNL. SYC would be pre GA. No longer part of ECNL.
Why does the topic always shift to which teams win the most and then inevitably is ECNL or GA better for winning?
Oh no! The blog police are here.
One day, not many years from now, you will realize how ridiculous you were caring so much about what 9/10 year old team won the most.
NOBODY said anything about wins! I think some team reps are trying to gaslight the issue of people unhappy with coaches or programs. So when they get on here asking for advice you reps scream, “idiot parents want wins!” No parents want a new team that fits their kids better. Stop belittling parents that are unhappy with bad coaching.
