Still talking about this tired topic...some of y'all need to get a f'ing life.
Just cuz you're tired of it doesn't mean it went away. Some of us are trying to live our lives, and it's much easier to do that if you are not actively trying to spread illness.
And some of us are trying to live our lives which is much easier when we’re not sticking swabs up our nose and missing school/work for every sniffle.
Thanks for spreading your germs to the rest of us. Willing to bet you dose up your kid with tylenol to get that fever down before sending them to school. Will they get another kid or the teacher sick? Probably, but you DGAF. Gotta live your life, amirite?
PP’s kid is asymptomatic. He isn’t coughing or fever-ish. According to APS policy he is allowed to attend school (and remember attendance is tracked and by HS missing course loads matters more than for younger kids). If he hadn’t happened to test he’d be in school and no one would have any clue he was positive and I guarantee you there are a number of other kids with no/very mild symptoms at school who have no idea they have it. PP keeping her healthy kid home from school because an incidental diagnosis (and I’m guessing viral load is pretty low if he isn’t symptomatic) is not going to have any meaningful impact on the spread of an endemic virus in a crowded school environment. I get you’re angry this virus exists and it sucks to get sick, but getting angry at people for not upending their lives around this virus is really misplaced.
I can't be angry that PP is not following APS rules by sending her unmasked COVID positive kid to school?
