She is insufferable. She has no humility or self-awareness. And she has a massive victimhood complex. She is a perpetual victim in her own mind. She never takes any responsibility for her actions that have fractured her family and caused trauma for her children. [/quote]

Agree. The kids would have bounced back just fine from one horrible day where their father had some kind of psychotic break--if she had simply permitted and encouraged it. He got sober and fought hard to be present in their lives, spending millions on legal fees and therapy bills. She reinforced and deepened their fear and anxiety instead of helping them heal and move forward with some kind of positive relationship with the man whose parenting she praised to the heavens for a number of years. That is abysmal parenting. Seems like the older girl is building her own life in college. Hope the rest can too at some point.[/quote]
