Most kids manage to teach themselves Roman numerals around 1st-3rd grade since they are often on the first few pages of books. Reading neat cursive is a completely different skill from writing it and also fairly easy. Frankly, if you are over age 12 and can't read an analog clock, Roman numerals or a text written in neat cursive, you should be ashamed.[/quote]
