My young adult b/g kids are just grateful we no longer smoosh the whole family into 1 hotel room as we did when they were little.
+1 It’s not about the beds, it’s all about having two bathrooms, lol
Same. Our travel phases (2 kids, b/g) were.. Really little - one room, kids share a bed Bigger, not old enough to be away in a separate room, but complain about bed sharing - one room, girl with Mom, boy with Dad. Tweens - kids in an adjoining room where each can have their own bed, which can be hard to find so pretty quickly led to.. Teens - totally separate room with two beds. My parents always made my family of five squeeze into one hotel room with me sharing a bed with my sister and little brother on a rollaway or sofa bed. Just adding the second room always feels luxurious LOL.
