I agree Tom shouldn't have dissed Maria's job. But I think the underlying issue is probably that she'd be a SAHM as soon as they had a kid, given that she probably doesn't earn enough to justify daycare.

I'm too am glad Demi stood up for her own needs. I don't think Ollie is a bad guy at all. I just got the feeling that he's into looks. Demi said herself that she had to up her clothing game for him, because she usually hung around in sweatpants. I can see that for Tom/Maria. I also always think it's a bad sign when the parents don't want to come to the wedding.
