Hogan is/was solid as an executive in government. He should have run for POTUS but he would never be popular with the ignorant MAGA crowd. Alsobrooks is a good politician. She should be running for a seat in Congress. I must say that I find it hard to believe a politician from PG County can be taken seriously on the state and national level considering high crime rates, struggling public school system, and poverty levels found in PG County. [b]What exactly has improved in PG County over the past 20 years[/b]?[/quote]

Crime Reduction:
Alsobrooks has focused on enhancing public safety through community policing and increased investment in law enforcement. Her administration has also worked on improving community engagement and preventive measures. As a result, crime rates have generally shown a downward trend in recent years.

Education:
In terms of education, Alsobrooks has supported initiatives to improve school facilities, increase funding, and enhance educational programs. There has been progress in addressing some of the challenges faced by local schools. The school that scored highest/best in the state on the last MCAP is a PGCPS with a 95% brown and black population.

Improvements over the last 20 years:

Business Growth and job creation
New and improved healthcare facilities 
Enhancement to public transportation, public facilities, and green spaces
Several new schools and school renovations
