If you go to a lower income school in a high rated school district, you may have a better chance to get into a top state school or T20/Ivy. In part because you kid will be top dog and take advantage of all the higher academic classes the school has to offer (which colleges look for) and in part because if the school only takes a certain number of kids from the area, your kid is more likely to be chosen.[/quote]
