It is a legitimate worry but I don't think there's someone ready to stand in his place. That flaccid, bloated grifter is pretty unique - as demonstrated by the fact so many minor MAGAs have flamed out trying to follow in his footsteps.

I think Rs will continue to be disgusting weirdo perverts who are obsessed with children's genitalia and desperate to knock women down a few pegs. But I think they are looking at being leaderless for a bit. Who's going to do it? Cokehead Don Jr? Chinless Eric? Meatball DeSantis? Puppy killer Noem? Zero charisma Vance? Tucker? I guess it could be Tucker - but if he hasn't done it yet, it's hard to see him doing it now.
