Not that I agree with those rankings especially because little girls teams are not a part of this discussion, but Arlington and Loudoun typically have strong teams at the younger ages due to the large size of their player pools. It gets interesting once the teams age up.

Other than 2011, what does Arlington have? NVA 2011’s and 2010’s aren’t strong. Both clubs become average at best for the ECNL years. And now NVA has Revolution and FCV in their backyard. [/quote]

Those two clubs have/had virtual monopolies for years and not done much with it. If a super club were to form in Nova, Union would seem to have the inside track with its recent history of successful college placement, central location and access to fields from three different clubs. [/quote]

Super club????? Where does this thinking come from?  This will never happen -- not in ECNL's interest and not in club's interest.  Most importantly it is not in the kid's interest.  Union has great college results, as does NVA, VDA and Arlington.  [/quote]
