Your kid is more likely to get an invite to visit in an unofficial capacity first. Many if not most schools do their official visits once the girls commit and will bring the entire group in together. Sometimes this will even be their senior year. Don't take offense to an unofficial visit invite as that could be what that school does. Every school is different so 10 schools may do things 10 different ways. Keep the net wide and take all calls.  Don't blow anyone off and if she's lucky enough to get invited to multiple visits, great. Some may be official, some not. Some will make offers on the visit, some will not. BUT these are questions your daughter can ask on her calls.  Don't ask "are you giving me an offer" but rather, "what's next in the process?"[/quote]
