I'm so perplexed by how many media outlets have covered this story by making it sound like she was the victim of bad officiating when she blew a big lead in the first set. In the match, Coco had only 9 winners to her opponent's 33, and Vekic had to close out the match with the crowd booing and against her. I'm not sure how you can claim racism when it's the opposite - all of the coverage suggests, if not affirmatively states, that the call was made before she hit the ball, which is not true.[/quote]
