For reasons I don't totally understand women who are short and curvy tend to be the most likely to wear this dress. It's very obvious from the photos on the website that it will look best on a woman with long limbs and even then probably needs to be tailored to fit just right.

I wonder if the appeal is that because the dress is very boxy it's not going to pull and be tight over a large chest or wide hips. Which it's true -- it doesn't. But it will also add width to these areas.

I think it can work on a short curvy woman if she's teeny tiny and she gets it tailored. Like I could see this on Reese Witherspoon when she's in her Draper James southern prep mode. With a pair of high heels in a neutral color and hair up to lengthen the neck. But it would only work because though she's short Reese is also little and she has great legs.[/quote]
