If I were quicker on my feet, I could better articulate why these "childless" attacks are so ludicrous on multiple levels.  The thing is, if Kamala did have kids, she'd be attacked for abandoning her children by pursuing a career.  
I chose to leave a certain career I loved because I knew there was no space for a family.  Many of my female former colleagues chose to continue in that career and remain "childless."  
I'm certain most of us are ultimately happy with our decisions, but we would all prefer that our society were set up such that we didn't have to make that choice.  It is just different for women, and the conservatives are loathe to make it possible to have both.  I can't wait to see the next generation set up the scaffolds to allow both parents to participate fully in work and family life.[/quote]
