Part of the stress of NE LACs and universities is embedded in the region’s approach to and regard for academics - it’s education, but it’s also a prestige game that culminates in a final scramble for the most prestigious jobs in a couple of niche areas, like Wall Street and consulting. If you don’t want that culture, you shouldn’t target the NE. [/quote]
