My teammate went to training. They want all teachers focused on using basal for quarter 1 and then slowly can introduce AAP stuff starting quarter 2 if time allows. I would say AAP Language Arts will look extremely different this year and parents/teachers don’t have much say in this change. The science of reading is law now in VA so this isn’t an FCPS thing but VA thing. [/quote]
