PP here. I am so sorry for what you experienced. You're right. It's possible. Certainly Trump has always shown an unhealthy interested in Ivanka's physical appearance (see quotes earlier in this thread of things he has said about her body) and there are tons of photos of him touching her in public. The reality is none of us will ever know. I think it's unlikely, however, because Ivanka was 9 when her parents divorced and she no longer lived with him. Also, the Trumps had two nannies looking after the kids. I think what is more likely is that he sees her as an extension of himself--a very attractive one--and, being a narcissist, admiring her is a way of admiring himself. In any event, no one knows what the truth is except for Ivanka. [/quote]

I appreciate the kind words from PPs. My life is good now and I don’t often think of my father, although Trump does trigger me.

Access is access, even if it’s limited.  My parents got divorced when I was 11, and I didn’t spent much time with my dad. But he abused me from 7 until 14. It only takes a few seconds to grope someone (which Trump has bragged about doing). It once happened as we watched my mom’s car pulling into the driveway to pick me up. Perverted men on a power trip take pleasure in that sort of thing.[/quote]
