HOWEVER - knowing what "nice yarn" requires in order to washed and dried properly, are they the types to follow those instructions so it doesn't get ruined? I think its a wonderful idea - but be very careful to select yarn that is easy to care for (not all superwash wool will go through the washer/dryer very well) and will stay beautiful. I've done beautiful baby blankets in hand wash only yarns, but they're small enough that they can lie flat on top of the washing machine to dry. [/quote]
