[/quote] I lived in Vietnam for 2 years while serving in the peace corps and this is indeed fact. it was rice breakfast lunch and dinner, but i’d say the pot of rice only lasted maybe 24hrs before it was empty. meal was always always tons of veggies over rice and occasionally meat and ample amount of sauces that would burn the lining of my stomach off.
