Even a neurosurgeon should be finished around the age of 33.[/quote] 1-2 years off before med school, which is common, so done w med school 27-28, plus cardiothoracic or neurosurgery adds 7-9 yrs, plus some fellowships (2-3 yrs after residency)are understood by family to be “residency” because not a real job/still training.
