And if you're poor enough to get SNAP or TANF, I'm fine with you getting (at this point) a guaranteed spot at Latin. Many kids in that situation won't have the wherewithal or the family support to apply or to get there each day, but a kid who does deserves a chance. Only a portion of the seats are set aside for equitable access, so the school will remain economically diverse.[/quote]
