If the pastor is spending money wildly but not spending it on items that directly impact instruction, how do think the teachers might feel? Perhaps a bit put out? Maybe feeling unsupported and then they leave? That seems like a direct  connection.

A large construction project happened at the school but my child reported there was a large leak in a hallway after a rainstorm. Also came home from school overheated and reported the AC didn’t work at the end of the school year. If the pastor approved expenses that might not be beautiful to look at, but practical in nature like fixing the roof and upgrading AC, that might make a positive impact with teacher retention. Which again is an example of a direct connection to the pastor and principal who approve spending and budgeting for the school.[/quote]
