I completely agree. Thick skin? You've got to be kidding, or you have a very distorted self-image. Honestly, everyone on this thread has been supportive and rooting for you, OP, and if you don't like what they tell you, well, then don't ask questions on DCUM, where there is lots of educated people who actually think and have opinions, because you might get some responses that are not what you expect. You say suggestions are ok, but apparently only when they are in line with what you are doing anyway, because otherwise you call them "unsupported critiques". The truth is, none of the comments here were unsupported. That doesn't mean they proved you are on the wrong track -- after all, we never know for sure what the right track is. They were food for thought, and possibly for a conversation with your RE. If any comment that is not affirmative of your planned path causes you anxiety, then DCUM is going to be a tough place for you.

I hope the time posters have spent time commenting on your situation will not be wasted because there will be other people will find their posts interesting or useful. I did, in any event. Good luck to you, OP, and I'm saying this without snark! Ultimately, most of it comes down to luck.[/quote]
