My dd is at Yale and can confirm that the social life is there for anyone who wants to partake, not all do. When she has visited friends at Harvard she's been a little surprised by how limited their ability to have what seems like a "normal" college social life is, and it's really due to a combination of the social structure of the school and admin oversight.[/quote]
