Magic Kingdom. That is quintessential Disney. Especially for an 8 year old. No way would I waste time at a water park in Disney if I was only there 2.5 days.
OP here. I already decided to go to the Magic Kindgom. My sister compromised by not going to Epcott ( that she wanted to go to) and go instead to Magic Kingdom. I agree with you- water park doesn't call to me, but my sister insists to go to the water park, so we will go to stay together. So that was my compromise with my sister to go to the water park.
Why can't you go to Epcot and MK? Then everyone wins. A water park is a water park. My kids loved Epcot.
OP here. We only have 2 full days and one half day in Disneworld ( staying in Disney resorts). It kind of was late planning, or not much planning, and the tickets are very expensive. My sister also thought that doing two theme parks in 2 days without any break might be too much for kids. I know that next time, if we go again, I will plan better time of the year, and purchase 4 day package or something like that to make it more economical. I truly don't want to break the bank on this trip. In my view, this trip will be just the sampling of Disneyworld.
Has your sister been before? Does she have younger kids?
