DP Is that an insult, really?  If the poster is actually unintelligent, and many here certainly are, isn't that mainly an accident of birth and genetics?  Perhaps a little bit being raised in a substandard school district?  Mostly genes though.  Which is not the poster's fault, obviously, intelligence is not like acquired knowledge, it's capacity to learn.  I think you are being rude and mean to a person who has no control over their IQ but is trying hard to contribute to the conversation here.  I think you should encourage them rather than trying to knock them down and make them feel bad.  Given the bell curve lots of people are unintelligent but it's not their fault.  They can't fix it.
