A couple dozen get into UVa from both Yorktown and W-L.  You don't need an IB degree to get into UVa.

I don't think W-L blows.  I think W-L has gotten really huge and there aren't any additional extracurriculars/events offered when there are more kids.  Something to think about at least.  [/quote]

Whenever anyone asks something about WL, commenters constantly talk about WL and YHS. Same for when someone asks something about YHS. Like those are the only high schools in town. If someone asks about one school, just answer about that school. Stop being dismissive of a third+ of the high school community.[/quote]
