I’m not involved in this whatsoever and this resonates with me. Families have to make decisions that they feel is best for their child, and that may mean playing for certain coaches. If my child had a connection with a coach and wanted to play with him somewhere else NEXT year because he is moving on, you’ve really got some nerve to pull the rug out on the rest of this year and/or lump me in as some sort of bad actor/conspirator. Unless there is more to the story, this is a knee jerk bush league reaction that is shameful.

Every time I feel like I can’t be more disappointed in the state of youth soccer (e.g., what BSC has become), there’s more like this. It is kids soccer! The first and foremost priority always has to be about them and letting them play. Nothing good happens when controlling, egotistical adults get in the way and lose sight of this. [/quote]
