You don’t really wait all say. With Genie+ you wait like 20 minutes and it goes by fast because of the anticipation and the pre-ride features. Food isn’t great, I’ll give you that. But if you don’t enjoy rides and theming then sure, not for you. It’s ultimately for your kids anyway, who, while they may be enriched by foreign travel, would usually have more fun at Disney.

We definitely had moments we didn’t have fun - overstimulated, no where to sit, claustrophobia attacks (me!) - but overall it was very fun. If it had been hotter or my kid less regulated it would have been terrible. But he surprised me with how much he loved the rides and also all the animatronics (even Hall of Presidents) so we had a great time. A few of the rides really legitimately knocked my socks off too (Soarin’, Thunder Mountain at night) - but if I hated rides it probably would have been not fun at all.

Yeah, that works until everyone buys genie+. Then you'll need to spend even more when Disney comes out with genie+ premium deluxe to sell you what you got before everyone did the same as you.[/quote]
