And not only is the sweet spot different for each family, it is different for each kid! Nothing wrong with not having extracurriculars or having a ton of them. [/quote] Of course there is something wrong with not providing an appropriate amount of structured activities for your individual child’s needs. Some kids are fine with none. Some kids need that structure. Again, it is completely child-dependent.[/quote]
